EchoVault is a user-friendly mobile application designed to demystify the often-intimidating world of digital currencies, making them accessible and manageable for everyone, regardless of their experience level in the crypto space. EchoVault's design philosophy is deeply rooted in the user experience, drawing inspiration from leading fintech platforms to deliver an exceptionally user-friendly interface.
The application's core functionality revolves around its intuitive interface, which resonates with familiarity akin to traditional banking apps, yet is powerful enough to manage complex cryptocurrency operations. This seamless integration of simplicity and functionality makes navigation and operation straightforward for all users, from crypto novices to seasoned investors. EchoVault offers comprehensive management tools, allowing users to buy, sell, store, and exchange a wide range of cryptocurrencies from a single, convenient location. This all-in-one approach eliminates the need for multiple platforms, streamlining the user's crypto journey
Problem Statement
People interested in using cryptocurrencies often find it hard to get started and manage their investments. Most apps are either too complicated or don't have all the features they need. They want a simple app that lets them buy, sell, and keep an eye on their cryptocurrencies just like they do with their regular money in a bank app. Right now, without a friendly and complete tool, many are hesitant to try or struggle to keep up with their crypto investments. EchoVault plans to solve this by offering an easy-to-use app that combines the best of a bank app with everything needed for cryptocurrency. This way, users can feel confident and stay on top of their digital money.
My Contribution
I was the one-man army product designer for this project. I identified the problem, user personas, user research / testing, UI design, UX design, and facilitated the design hand-off to developers.
Solution
EchoVault aims to redefine cryptocurrency management by combining an intuitive, user-friendly interface with comprehensive transaction capabilities . The solution focuses on simplifying the crypto experience while providing advanced features that cater to both beginners and seasoned users. A key feature of EchoVault is the ease of cryptocurrency purchases, mirroring the simplicity of online shopping. Users can make crypto transactions with just a few taps, significantly lowering the entry barrier for new users. The app also integrates fiat money management, enabling users to deposit, view, and manage their traditional currency alongside their digital assets. This dual-functionality addresses a significant gap in the market, offering users a unified financial experience.

The application was first launched in 2021 for Android users and was recently updated for iOs, adding basic details to the design without changing the information architecture and user flow. However, it is planned to refresh the application and its content for 2023 with the following requirements.

Important Feedback
To ensure that EchoVault delivers an exceptional user experience, a comprehensive usability test was conducted. This test aimed to evaluate the app's interface, functionality, and overall ease of use, particularly focusing on its cryptocurrency transaction processes and user interaction flow. Participants representing EchoVault’s target audience were carefully selected to provide diverse and relevant feedback. The test involved observing users as they navigated through key tasks within the app, gathering both quantitative data and qualitative insights. The findings from this usability study were instrumental in refining EchoVault’s design, enhancing its user-friendliness, and ensuring that the app effectively meets the needs and expectations of its users. The iterative design process, informed by this usability test, underscored our commitment to a user-centered approach in developing a seamless and intuitive cryptocurrency management experience

Now we'll create the content map, which provides an overview of the content we need in our app, to cover more information later, serves as a roadmap for creating and organizing content in a product, and helps ensure that the product final meets the needs and expectations of the target audience.
User Flow
For the development of the user flowchart it was crucial to understand the information provided by the automated database that would be associated with the app and would load user data and subscription types, as well as group the types of services according to their functions.
Medium-Fidelity Prototype
The development of wireframes focused on the creation of frames are related to technical support services, technical service, home and the assistance bar.
Below is a sample of a low-fidelity visual representation of the layout and functionality of the app. It shows the structure of the screen, and the placement of elements such as text, images, buttons, pop-ups, forms, etc.
Home Screen
The home page is one of the main changes made, since it proposes:
✔ Top Bar: Includes the app's navigation menu and a shortcut to user settings, typically represented by iconography that users recognize globally (like the hamburger menu for navigation and a gear for settings).
✔ Balance Display: Prominently features the user's current cryptocurrency balance in both digital currency and its equivalent fiat value, allowing for immediate understanding of one's financial standing.
✔ Quick Action Buttons: These are direct access buttons for "Top up," "Swap," and "Cards," which are frequently used features, strategically placed for easy reach.
✔Transaction History: A list of recent transactions provides a quick overview of recent account activity, with the option to see all for a more detailed view.
✔Spending Overview: A graphical representation of spending over time, giving the user quick insights into their financial trends.

Portfolio Screen
The portfolio screen serves as a comprehensive control panel for the user's investments, emphasizing at-a-glance readability and quick action capabilities. By showcasing the total portfolio value prominently and providing immediate access to transactional functions, the screen facilitates active portfolio management.
✔ Portfolio Value: At the top, the user's total portfolio value is displayed in both cryptocurrency and fiat currency, giving a clear and immediate financial snapshot.
✔ Primary Action Buttons: Located just below the portfolio value, buttons for key actions such as "Send," "Receive," "Buy," and "Analytics" are strategically placed for easy access to common transactions and data review.
✔ Cryptocurrency List: This is the 'My Crypto' section where individual cryptocurrencies owned by the user are listed with their current value in fiat currency and the amount held. It provides a quick reference to assess the distribution of investments.
✔ Watchlist: Adjacent to the 'My Crypto' tab is the 'Watchlist' section, which allows users to monitor the performance of other cryptocurrencies that they may be interested in buying or tracking for market trends.

The EchoVault app showcases a sleek and user-friendly branding design, characterized by a modern color palette of blues and greens that evoke trust and growth. Its clean, sans-serif typography ensures readability, while the consistent and intuitive iconography promotes easy navigation. The thoughtful use of space and personalized imagery lends a friendly and engaging touch to the overall user experience, underpinning the app's commitment to simplicity and security in the complex world of cryptocurrency.
